She was seen in two statement-making outfits for her Diwali celebrations. Both are stunning in their way, she first adorned herself in an exquisite terracotta-coloured outfit featuring a sophisticated khadi terracotta lehenga from the shelves of designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and she took her celebratory ensemble to the next level by opting for a body cast made from Multani mitti and Karnataka red soil curated by a Bangalore based design studio, ‘thevernacularmodern’. By opting for this conscious ensemble, Sonam successfully put forward a strong message for future generations to follow. The second outfit that charmed its way inside our hearts held a deep sentimental value for the actress as she decided to honour her close friend and renowned designer late Rohit Bal by opting for creations from his previous collections. This ensemble featured an exquisite swan white neck scarf from ‘Husn-e-Taihrat’ 2015 collection, a pistachio green crochet long shrug with floral patterns from ‘Kroshni’ 2016 collection, and an elegant white tunic dress with intricate floral embroidery from ‘Kaynaat’ 2024 collection paying a beautiful tribute to the late celebrated designer.

Priyanka Chopra yet again successfully managed to steal our breaths away with her refreshing floral lime green saree look in her Diwali celebrations. By opting for the renowned designer Rahul Mishra, Priyanka adorned herself in a lime-coloured hand-embroidered ‘Peonies’ saree, from the designer’s Couture Festive 2024 collection ‘Nargis’. Featuring various renditions of the peony flowers in delicate hues of powder blue, powder yellow, and dust pink, the intricate peony artwork effortlessly elevated the Diwali ensemble of our desi girl. What made us awe was the adorable fashion coordination among the family with her husband Nick Jonas and daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas opting for the same hues and patterns with their respective outfits from the shelves of the same designer.
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt can never fail the assignment of leaving a strong message with her fashion choices. Alia was seen mainly in two Diwali celebratory outfits. The first one was from the instance when the ‘Jigra’ actress opted for her pink Manish Malhotra mehendi lehenga to attend the designer’s Diwali house party. Featuring embellished stones and refreshing seashell stones, Alia proves how we can use a statement-worthy outfit for different occasions without getting too much into the pretentiousness of the fashion world. While attending the Diwali party of designer duo Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani, the actress opted for an elegant ivory saree from their ‘Baroque Collection’.
