Add hot boiling water to the mixture and place your the tarnished jewellery inside the bowl and stir the contents. The baking soda and salt mixture will loosen up the upper tarnished layer. After a few minutes, take your accessory out of the mixture and gently dry it before using a toothpaste to remove the rest of the tarnish. You can use a toothbrush as well. This will leave your silver jewellery looking as good as new.
