Dolly J’s collection ‘La Vie En Rose’ unfolded a bridal fairytale on the runway with outfits embracing timeless elegance through modern craftsmanship.

Including intricate embroideries and floral motifs in shimmering fabrics like iridescent tissues, tulle, chiffons, and silk organzas, the line effortlessly blended feminine beauty and experimental designs.

Comprising mostly gowns and lehengas, the collection also showcased a few saris, from pastel to red, black, pink and blue colours.

JJ Valaya on the other hand wowed the audience with his collection ‘MURAQQA’, a fusion of rich textiles, fine crafts and exquisite detailing.

Inspired by the Ottoman intricacies, Persian carpets, and Mughal inlays, the outfits featured custom woven silks and lush velvets.

The line featured a wide range of ensembles from saris, lehengas, evening jackets, sherwanis, and Nehru jackets, highlighting the traditional embroidery techniques and prints reflecting the designer’s signature royal and art deco influences.

Recently married Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha turned the showstopper for Dolly J’s presentation in a blush pink gown with shimmering details, off-the-shoulder cape sleeves and a thigh-high slit that added that extra oomph to the ensemble.

JJ Valaya’s runway seemed to be a cultural amalgamation with tunes reflecting the collection’s inspiration from Isfahan, Istanbul and Delhi. The designer partnered with ISVARI Jalandhar Jewellery House to style the outfits in an array of emeralds, rubies and diamonds.
