Robinson, a native of Coimbatore, and Priyanka, a resident of Munnar in Idukki tied their knot at Tamil Nadu-Kerala border on June 7, 2020. Robinson appeared from the Tamil Nadu border, while the bride, Priyanka, walked from the Kerala side. The Chinnar check-post and forest officials in Kerala’s Idukki district set the mandapam and checked sanitisation for the unique wedding. To ensure physical distancing protocols, the families of the bride and the groom had to stand away from the couple. The wedding took place at the border as it was not possible for all family members to get passes and anyone travelling to another state, will have to follow home quarantine for the next two weeks.
