Singer Aditya Narayan and actress Shweta Agarwal tied the knot on Tuesday in a small temple ceremony. Their wedding moments instantly went viral on social media. The wedding took place on the groom’s father singer Udit Narayan’s birthday. Photos of Aditya, dressed in an ivory white sherwani with a turban, emerged online instantly. He was also seen dancing with father, singer Udit Narayan, and other relatives in the baraat. Photos of the bride Shweta Agarwal, dressed in an ivory lehenga with a pale pink dupatta, also took the internet.
On Tuesday, several pictures and videos from the pre-wedding ceremonies online by Aditya’s fan clubs. Also, a glimpse at the wedding card is also doing the rounds on the internet. The wedding as per Ahmedabad Mirror was an intimate ceremony with only 50 guests in attendance after which a reception will be thrown for their friends and family.
Pre-Wedding Festivities
The couple had their Mehendi ceremony on Sunday followed by a Tilak and Haldi ceremony held on Monday. In an interaction with Mumbai Mirror, Aditya’s father and veteran singer Udit Narayan dished out details of the wedding festivities. He shared the father and son duo along with their friends sang ‘Mehndi Laga Ke Rakhna’ and ‘Bole Chudiyaan’ during Mehendi ceremony.
Udit also spoke at length about the wedding and reception plans along with the people he invited. The singer told the tabloid, “The Haldi ceremony on Monday was a family affair, and the wedding today will be at a small temple with just 50 guests in attendance, followed by a reception.”
Narayan added, “I’ve invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shatrughan Sinhaji, Dharmendraji, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Madhuri Dixit, but with Covid-19 cases on the rise, I don’t know if they will be able to attend.”

Aditya and Shweta first met on the sets of their debut film ‘Shapit’. They have been in a relationship for the last 10 years. Earlier last month, Narayan had announced on Instagram that he will tie the knot with his ‘soulmate’ this month, calling himself “the luckiest man alive.
