Alexander McQueen Launches ‘White 3D’ Oversized Sneaker
Sneakers are the most crucial element of a quintessential street wear style for an enthusiast. Hence, sneaker drops and launches by each label are closely followed by many. Alexander McQUEEN has perched itself on the top of the sneaker trend game by launching its latest ‘White 3D’ Oversized Sneaker. This particular iteration stands out due to a layered 3D effect applied to the heel. This is a new development following the black pair we saw earlier this month.
The newly-launched sneakers are crafted in white leather and feature a clean-finish upper and round toe. The design comes with interchangeable white or black flat shoelaces that can be switched at any point for a varied look. Perhaps the coolest part about the shoes is the chunky transparent sole that gives the style a futuristic feel. The heel tab with a layered 3D effect is placed to give a trippy vibe to the pair. Flip the pair upside down, and you will find a cutout outsole inspired by leopard print.
The design is accompanied by a choice of white or black flat shoelaces, and the chunky silhouette is complete with a thick air-bubble sole unit and the luxury label’s logo placed at the tongue and rear.
Headed by Sarah Burton, Alexander McQUEEN is a British luxury label that was instituted by Alexander Mcqueen in 1992. Since then, the label has been known for its Roman Gothic/Victorian-inspired pieces, like dark colours, thick fabrics, and red lace. Frequent references to armour or pieces those are ‘protective’ of the woman wearing them are also apparent. In modern times, a perfect amalgamation of innovation and McQueen aesthetics has been seen in the latest launches.
