Bollywood superstars Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan welcomed their second baby boy together on Sunday. Designer Manish Malhotra announced the good news on his Instagram story and wrote, “Congratulations, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.” Both the actress and Kareena Kapoor’s second baby are safe and healthy. Saif thanked well-wishers for their love and support.
Kareena, who was admitted to the Breach Candy Hospital early morning on Sunday, gave birth around 9 am. “She has delivered a baby boy in the morning around 9 am. I’ll be visiting them soon,” Kareena’s father, veteran actor Randhir Kapoor told.
Ahead of the birth of Saif and Kareena Kapoor’s second baby, they had shifted to a bigger home, which is just opposite to their former house. They are parents to four-year-old Taimur Ali Khan. The couple announced their second pregnancy in August last year. “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family. Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support,” the couple said in a joint statement.

For the couple, early congratulatory messages were posted by Alia Bhatt, designer Manish Malhotra, actresses Neha Dhupia, Dia Mirza, Amrita Arora and many others. Bollywood fraternity showcased much enthusiasm for Kareena Kapoor’s second baby.
Alia Bhatt, who is dating Kareena’s cousin and actor Ranbir Kapoor, congratulated the couple on her Instagram story. Posting a picture of Kareena, Saif and their son Taimur, Alia wrote: “Congratulations Bebo and Saif and my little Timtim. Can’t wait to meet your baby brother.”
Talking about Kareena’s second pregnancy, she has been quite active like her first one. The actress shot for her film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ opposite Aamir Khan during her initial trimester. Meanwhile, she has also been spotted outside in public for events and parties. Just a few days before her due date, she was snapped at her father Randhir Kapoor’s birthday bash along with the rest of her family.
