The Ambanis and Radhika Merchant were seen ditching the trending pastel ethnic wear for the more traditional bright colours for their pre-wedding functions.
The Ambanis took a more traditional route for their ceremonies and we are here for it. The eccentric and bright colours they chose for their ceremony are truly dazzling. The neons, reds, pinks and even electric blue. Ambanis are the real trendsetters and we are all waiting for their looks at their real wedding. Until then, let’s appreciate their recent looks. These colours were unexpected but they rocked their looks nonetheless. Let’s look at some outfits for inspiration from their looks.
Pink
Radhika Merchant recently wore a red ensemble for a ceremony held in the first week of July. Her beautiful lehenga was designed by Manish Malhotra. The bright orange and magenta lehenga worn by the merchant is adorned with multiple heartfelt embellishments. First of all, it is made of Bandhani textile, a technique unique to her native Gujarat. According to Malhotra, the lehenga features genuine gold zari borders that are stitched with shlokas honouring the nine deities of Navratri. A stunning vintage Koti blouse with intricate metallic embroidery and Swarovski tassels completes the ensemble.
To complete the look, a long dupatta was hung in a Gujarati pallu. Even Nita Ambani wore a pink ensemble on the sangeet night. Her saree was by Falguni Shane Peacock. Nita wore a heavily embroidered choli with the lehenga, which was decorated with elaborate silver sequined work. Her naturally unstructured hair and delicate makeup accentuated her already magnificent appearance. Nita chose some gorgeous jewellery to finish off her ensemble, which included a big heart-shaped diamond ring, and complementing earrings.
Blue
Electric blue is back and it’s back big time. For the first-ever sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, Isha Ambani donned a custom-designed saree by Schiaparelli. Isha’s saree was the first “modern-day” Schiaparelli saree, as stated by Diet Sabya, with designs by Daniel Roseberry. The first Schiaparelli saree, on the other hand, was motivated by Rani Sita Devi of Kapurthala province and was a part of their 1935 collection. In the West, she was referred to as Princess Karam. Many celebrities were seen wearing this colour like Janhvi Kapoor, and Alaya F.

Green
Isha Ambani has been well-publicised for her stylish looks ever since Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding festivities began. Every occasion, from the Garba night to the pre-wedding festivities, has been made even more memorable by Isha’s flawless style. Naturally, Isha kept shining when it came time for the younger brother’s sangeet. Isha looked stunning in her green ensemble as she always does. The green peeked through the silver of the lehenga by Manish Malhotra. Isha selected a metallic encrusted sequin lehenga by Manish Malhotra, especially for Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s sangeet.
Anita Shroff Adajania, a famous stylist, styled Isha. Isha wore a silver lehenga and a green blouse with touches of silver. Sequins, Dazzling silver crystals, mirror work, and green emeralds were used as details on this asymmetrical one-shoulder shirt.
