For people around the world, the COVID-19 pandemic brought about unprecedented levels of stress. It demonstrated the need for a major change in how we approach and look after our health. During such times, going back to our ancient roots can help. According to experts, our ancient intelligence, that is Ayurveda, has the power to heal illnesses. Here are a few Ayurvedic concoctions to help you boost immunity.

For Acidity And Bloating

Take eight black raisins and one tablespoon of saunf (fennel seeds). Soak them in water for five to six hours. Next, drain the water and chew this mixture for one to two minutes.

For Hormonal Imbalance

Boil a glass of water and add 15 tulsi leaves, one freshly-ground pipli (long pepper), and one tablespoon of grated ginger. Switch off the gas, and then add half a cup of pomegranate juice. Strain it, and drink it while lukewarm.

For Cholesterol

Take 50 ml each of lemon juice, garlic juice, ginger juice, apple cider vinegar (only Braggs or Heinz). Boil all the ingredients in a vessel till the mixture is half the original quantity. Let it cool before drinking it up.

For Diabetes

Add seven to eight leaves of bael patra, seven to eight leaves of basil leaves, seven to eight curry leaves, and half a cup of water into a grinder. Grind it into a smooth paste. Strain it and drink it fresh.

For Digestion-Related Issues

Boil a glass of water and add a half tablespoon each of coriander seeds, jeera and fennel seeds. Strain and add a few drops of lemon. Serve warm. It helps deal with bloating and gas. Increased awareness about the way our body works and getting in touch with the ancient way of Ayurveda is a step we can take in order to ensure a life full of health and happiness.
