“For me beauty is what you feel for yourself. No matter what
people say, you should know within what you are. The day you stop caring about the world’s opinion, you’ll truly realize how beautiful you are,” the confident actor shares.

But it’s one thing to own a beautiful mind, and another to keep the beauty game on throughout the day, especially when the paparazzi is documenting your every move.  “I moisturize my skin with lotion and use a Vaseline balm on the lips regularly.” Yes, she keeps her beauty ritual pretty simple. At this point, you might be wondering if she is the ‘natural over chemical’ kind of a girl. So did I, but she instantly clarifies, “honestly, I’ve never been big on face creams and scrubs and masks. I’ve always used Johnson’s baby lotion and that’s what works the best for me. I use besan on my face sometimes. It cleans up a layer of dead skin without any of the chemical peels.”

In an industry loaded with women crushing on expensive international beauty remedies, Anushka is the girl next door, with her bad hair day made good, in a quick messy hair bun, who relies on the simplest methods for best results. “I guess eating right also does the trick. But if you have certain skin issues you should discuss with a doctor and use products strictly recommended to you.

A quick peek at her handbag will give you a much needed sight of the basics she swears by –   Johnson’s lotion, lip balm, Vaseline petroleum jelly, No. 7 face wipes, Russian Red lipstick by MAC.
