In association with Reliance Brands, ICW 2024 occurred from 24th July 2024 to 31st July 2024. Like every year pristine craftsmanship, innovative design and home-grown talent were given the centre stage at the event. The 17th edition of India Couture Week was held at two locations in New Delhi, The Taj Palace and The Ashok, with 14 esteemed Indian couture designers presenting their designs.
The much-awaited fashion event provided wedding fashion enthusiasts and to-be brides and grooms with some much-needed inspiration on trending and fashionable wedding outfits and jewellery. The Red Lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla
For a bride looking to stun in red, the lehenga worn by Bollywood actress Wamiqa Gabbi while closing the show for the designer duo is a fabulous choice! A piece from the ‘Bridal Gota’ collection by the designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, this showstopper lehenga was handcrafted with gota and zardozi and encrusted with crystals. With the collection ‘Antevorta’, the designer delved into the profound relationship between time and the universe. Taking inspiration from the flow of time, this maroon ensemble by the designer consisting of his signature corded detailing is perfect for the modern groom. Embedded with intricate glass beadwork, this outfit can be perfect for the groom on his sangeet ceremony.
The Navy Blue Sherwani by Kunal Rawal
Aditya Roy Kapur dazzled the runway for Kunal Rawal’s Sehra collection in a navy cocktail sherwani with intricate gun-metal embroidery and black denim Patiala pants. The Bollywood star shined as a showstopper embodying sheer class and lavishness. This outfit is the perfect pick for a cocktail sangeet night or modern reception.

The Black Co-ord by Rahul Mishra
In recent years black has become a colour for weddings, and brides, grooms and wedding guests have been dazzling the Indian wedding in black ensembles. This shimmering black outfit featuring a peplum jacket and flowing semi-sheer skirt is the perfect outfit for a cocktail dinner or a sangeet gala. A part of the collection Nargis, it features jharokha and Mughal gardens inspired by authentic miniature paintings.
