Sushant played a dacoit wandering the Chambal Valley, in this Abhishek Chaubey movie showed Rajput in a different light. His portrayal of a hardened but considerate criminal was a shift from the romantic roles he was used to being seen in. The critics and audience alike applauded his efforts.

Sushant Singh Rajput in this biopic was one of the finest performances by the actor till date. He flawlessly portrayed the evolution of a small-town boy from Ranchi living the larger-than-life role of Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Director Dibaker Banerjee’s brave attempt to remake the classic indie detective series into a film, with Sushant in the titular role. How can we forget this gem. His debut film ‘Kai Po Che’ which established him as a successful Bollywood actor. Before this, he had acted in popular serials such as ‘Kis Desh Main Hai Meraa Dil’ and ‘Pavitra Rishta’.
