Tomato Upma

Ingredients

Suji – 150 grams, cooking oil – 1 tablespoon, mustard seeds – 1/2 teaspoon, urad dal – 1/2 teaspoon, peanuts – 50 grams, curry leaves – 10-12, chopped onion – 1, chopped ginger – 1 teaspoon, chopped tomato – 1, green peas – 50 grams, chopped beans – 50 grams, Haldi powder – 1/2 teaspoon, salt – 1/2 teaspoon, sugar – 1/2 teaspoon, water – 500 ml, ghee – 1 tablespoon, chopped coriander

Preparation

Roast suji in a pan. Keep aside. In a kadhai add cooking oil, mustard seeds and urad dal. Mix well. Add peanuts and mix well. Add curry leaves and chopped onion. Also, mix well. Add chopped ginger and chopped green chilli. Mix well. Add chopped tomato and mix well. Add green peas and chopped beans. Mix well. Add Haldi powder, salt and sugar. Mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add water and mix well. Add ghee and roasted suji. Mix well. Cook for 3-4 minutes on low heat.

Cream Of Cauliflower Soup

Ingredients

Butter – 2 teaspoon, kalonji / black seeds – 1/2 teaspoon, bay leaves – 2, chopped garlic – 1 tablespoon, chopped onion – 1 mid-sized, chopped cauliflower – 200 grams, salt – 1/2 teaspoon, maida – 2 teaspoon, milk – 200 ml, milk – 100 ml, mozzarella cheese – 25 grams, black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon

Preparation

Brisk Kitchen also has soups in store for you. In a kadhai add butter, kalonji/black seeds, bay leaves, chopped garlic and mix well. Add chopped onion and cook for 1 minute. Then, add chopped cauliflower and salt and cook for 2 minutes. Add maida and mix well. Add milk. Mix well and cook for 4-5 minutes. Hence, blend and transfer to a kadhai. Add milk and bring to a boil. Add mozzarella cheese and black pepper. Cook for 2 minutes. Garnish with croutons.

Veg Pinwheel Sandwich

Ingredients

Bread – 3 slices, butter – 1/2 teaspoon, green chutney – 1/2 teaspoon, tomato ketchup – 1/2 teaspoon, cheese slice – 1, chopped lettuce – 1/2 teaspoon, chopped carrot – 1/2 teaspoon, black pepper – 1 pinch

Preparation

This is a visually appealing recipe by Brisk Kitchen. Remove the edges from a set of three bread slices. Flatten using a rolling pin. Apply butter on the first slice, green chutney on the second and tomato ketchup on the third. Place one on top of the other adding a slice of cheese in the middle. Add chopped lettuce, chopped carrot and black pepper. Tightly roll the set from one end to the other. Cut the roll into even slices. Finally, serve with ketchup.

Desi Chicken Noodles

Ingredients

Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons, jeera – 1/2 teaspoon, curry leaf – 10, dry red chilli – 3, ginger garlic paste – 1 teaspoon, boneless chicken – 200 grams, salt – 1/2 teaspoon, black pepper – 1/2 teaspoon, red chilli sauce – 1 tablespoon, schezwan sauce – 1 tablespoon, boiled noodles – 200 grams

Preparation

In a kadhai add vegetable oil, jeera, curry leaves and dry red chillies. Mix well. Also, add ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Add boneless chicken and cook for 5 mins. Add salt and black pepper. Dry Masala Urad Dal

Ingredients

Pre soaked urad dal – 300 grams, salt – 1 teaspoon, Haldi powder – 1/2 teaspoon, coriander powder – 1/2 teaspoon, water – 300 ml, cooking oil – 2 teaspoons, jeera – 1 teaspoon, hing – 1 pinch, chopped onion – 2, ginger garlic paste – 1 tablespoon, grated tomato – 1, salt – 1/2 teaspoon, jeera powder – 1/2 teaspoon, red chilli powder – 1/2 teaspoon, amchur powder – 1/2 teaspoon, garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon, chopped coriander

Preparation

This is a beautiful recipe by Brisk Kitchen. In a kadhai add pre-soaked urad dal, salt, Haldi powder, coriander powder and water. Mix well and cook for 15-20 minutes. Keep aside. In a kadhai add cooking oil, jeera, hing and chopped onion. Mix well. Add ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Cook until onions change colour. Add grated tomato and mix well. Add salt, jeera powder, red chilli powder, amchur and garam masala. Mix well. Add pre-cooked urad dal. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with chopped coriander.
