Taking the product innovation to a new level of modish design and luxury manifestation, the leading watch brand, Casio India Private Limited has announced the special limited edition of its bestselling G-Shock GA-100. The limited edition GA-100 is launched in collaboration with Marcelo Burlon, a renounced international fashion designer. The latest timepiece is the first collaboration model of G-Shock with Burlon’s world-class fashion brand, County of Milan.

G-SHOCK continues to evolve and draw new aesthetic boundaries inspired by the creative talent of Marcelo Burlon who is the creative director at the County of Milan. Casio has established a strong partnership with the brand in 2014.

Marcelo is a multi-talented genius who engages in activities around the globe. A highly demanded DJ, event planner, photographer, and designer, Burlon founded his Milan-based label ‘County of Milan’ in 2012. The label has extended across versatile culture, fashion, music, nightlife, cosmetics and clothing.

The design of new G-Shock GA-100 features an overall coral snake pattern design, which is an icon of Burlon’s brand. The base color is bold black monotone and on the buckle, back cover, and metal band ring, there is a black ion plated finish. Its scales form a Black & Grey 3D printed texture to create a ‘seamless’ look, and provide outstandingly exotic graphic texture. Recalling his home country Argentina, it showcases a unique expression of both brands’ avant-garde street wear spirit.

The GA-100 comes with a concrete form of quality materials. The strap and case are made up of resin to offer extreme strength and flexibility while fitting to both technical as well as stylistic requirements. The timepiece features ultra-shock resistance, a full auto LED display, snooze function, an automatic calendar, and a battery that lasts at least two years.

Casio is keen on further associations with Marcelo Burlon to design more such exotic watches in the near future, which will suit a wide range of different personas and modern lifestyles.
