The closing day of India Couture Week celebrated the aura of a bride in all its glory. Ace designer Tarun Tahiliani showcased his collection ‘Bloom’. The designer captured the spirit of a new Indian bride who is just like a modern goddess and who envisions her wedding as an extension of her personality.
On the sixth day of the ongoing India Couture Week, designer Gaurav Gupta unfurled oodles of glamour at the runway. His Couture 19’ collection draws inspiration from endless waves which is cosmic, fluid, sculptural yet boundless and eternal. The exquisite ensembles were fashioned into beautiful architectonic creations. The creations were harmonised with extraordinary designs which subsequently personified ‘Wearable Art’.
The fifth day at the ongoing India Couture Week spelt out royalty as the internationally acclaimed designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacocks showcased their collection ‘Bonjour Ajmer’. Sara Ali Khan sashayed the runway in utmost grace clad in a glittery ivory lehenga.
On the fifth day of India Couture Week 2019, ace designer Reynu Taandon showcased her collection ‘The Savannah Saga’. The collection was inspired by the pink sky and sunset that the designer witnessed on her way to Lake Tahoe in the U.S.A.
On the fourth day of ongoing India Couture Week, Shyamal and Bhumika presented their Renaissance Muse collection. The gorgeous Kriti Sanon sashayed the runway clad in a floral lehenga crafted by the designer duo.
The fourth day of India Couture Week 2019 saw numerous unique and exquisite ensembles as the designer Sulakshana Monga showcased her collection ‘2019 Varanasi collection’. Actress Malaika Arora turned showstopper for the ace designer.
Designer Rahul Misha also presented his collection on the third day at the ICW 2019. His 2019 couture collection took inspiration from his own observations during a trip to Monaco as well as his childhood home in Uttar Pradesh.
The third day of India Couture Week 2019 spilled abundance of glamour on the runway. The designer duo Pankaj and Nidhi presented their collection ‘Mosaiq’. The collection took inspiration from the decorative art form that had flourished during the Byzantine era. The collection emphasised on modern yet elegant clothing.
On the second day of ICW 2019, ace designer Suneet Varma showcased his collection ‘Amara’. One of India’s foremost couturiers, Suneet Varma is a name that immortalises glamour and timeless style. According to Suneet Varma, every person has a “light within” which makes them unique. His latest couture collection ‘Amara’ draws inspiration from these energies.
Spread across three days, replete with eight knowledge sessions, celebrating 25 award categories, and harbouring 350+ delegates, EMF ACE 2019 set a stupendous benchmark for the industry to get inspired by. In a quest to achieve glories and move a step beyond, EMF ACE 2019 was held from 11-13 July, 2019.
