Celebrating the best in the field, the three-day event of Confluence’24 by AEEMF marked another milestone in the event management industry.
The Association of East Event Managers Fraternity (AEEMF) successfully concluded its flagship event, Confluence’24, held from the 2nd to 5th of September 2024 at the luxurious Novotel Dona Sylvia Spa & Resort, Goa. The event, presented by Black Rock Hospitality and AMSA Group, saw a gathering of event professionals from across India, including wedding and corporate event managers, photographers, decorators, hoteliers, and entertainers like anchors, singers, and DJs.
Day 1
The three-day event drew participants from regions beyond East India, with attendees from Delhi, Jaipur, Gujarat, Hyderabad, and other parts of the country. The first day welcomed guests with a relaxed atmosphere after their travels, featuring a mesmerising ‘Sufi Night’ performance by Sufigram, a band from Delhi, followed by a dynamic set from Tri Wicked, a renowned DJ trio. The celebration continued till 4 a.m., setting a vibrant mood for the following days.
Day 2
On the second day, the Talk Show kicked off with the ceremonial ‘Lamp Lighting’ and the National Anthem, followed by insightful discussions from industry experts. The sessions included:
– ‘Copyright Licensing’ with Mr. Sanjay Tandon, Director of ISAMRA and Chairperson of the Central Government’s Committee on Copyright Licences. Moderated by Vishnu Muchhal, AEEMF’s Vice President, the session delved into the nuances of event licensing and regulatory requirements, with an engaging Q&A.
– A panel on ‘Arts and Artists’: Exploring the Potential in Modern Entertainment, featuring Sunny Saberwal, Paras Sunda, and*Pankaj Shastri, moderated by Anchor Arpita.
– A discussion on the ‘Importance of Regional Associations’ with panellists Dr. Jaydeep Mehta (EMF Global, Gujarat), Mr. Balram Babu (TCEI, Telangana), and Mr. Sham Arjun Basrani (EMPA, Maharashtra), moderated by Geetesh Agarwal, President and Founder of AEEMF.
– The final session, ‘The Core Decor’, brought together experts like Mr. Vikram Chaudhary (Taxi Design Studio), Mr. Nirav Desai (Spark Events), and Rahul Choudhary (Partyideaz), with Siddharth Joshi moderating.
The second evening featured a ‘Recognition and Appreciation Ceremony’ honouring sponsors and contributors, followed by the 1st AEEMF Star Awards. These awards, categorised into Silver and Gold, recognized associates and artists for their contributions to the event industry. The evening’s entertainment featured performances by Rodney the Band and DJ Imraan.

Day 3
On the third day, attendees enjoyed a vibrant ‘Pool Party’ featuring DJ Dippy Bindra and *DJ Jazzleen Kaur. The evening was highlighted by the second round of awards, recognizing event companies across categories such as corporate, social, and weddings. The night concluded with electrifying performances by Yohani, the Sri Lankan sensation, Bollywood duo Meet Brothers, and VJ Khushboo Grewal, followed by an after-party led by DJ Vicky Metharamani.
Throughout the event, VJ Sneh Vadera curated the LED visuals, while DJ Suri provided the background score. Hosts for the various segments included Garima Joshi, Dinesh Soni, Yash Chaturvedi, Pooja Paul, Maniesh Sharma, Dipali Vijay, and Samragee Khandelwal. The hospitality team from Hashtag Hospitality, led by Saurav, Rohit, and Nabeel, ensured guests were well cared for, while the event was captured by Saket Jhunjhunwala Photography.
