‘Dabangg 3’ Spreads Christmas Cheer

Salman Khan’s movie ‘Dabangg 3’ has arrived in the theatres and the Bhaijaan of Bollywood has already started weaving his magic at the ticket counters. The Bollywood movie ‘Dabangg 3’ opens with several bangs where the wedding robbers are collecting guests’ gold jewellery and cash. Later the police arrive at the scene and the officers bumble until their leader, the hero, Inspector Chulbul Pandey aka Salman Khan, blasts his way onto the scene. He comes flying through a wall, and proceeds to punch, karate chop, kick, toss in the air and the robbers are stunned.

‘Dabangg 3’ is all about Khan. Not only does he play a one-man army, a romantic hero and a family man, but he is also had a hand in the screenplay as well. 

The most awaited song “Munna Badnam Hua”, grabbed a lot of attention from the netizens. Warina Hussain is the female lead of the song as she joins Salman. In the second half of the song, Prabhudheva joins and dances with Salman. The song is a ‘remake’ of the now iconic “Munni Badnaam Hui” featuring Malaika Arora from the original Dabangg.

The story traces back to the past where the jobless Dhakad, aka Salman Khan wants to marry Khushi (Saiee Manjrekar ). Khushi is a champion chess player who dreams of being a doctor. But she agrees to marry the jobless Dhakad. Dhakad is so progressive that he wants to marry only when Khushi has completed her studies.

‘Dabangg 3’ tries strenuously to get on the bandwagon of women empowerment.  So Dhakad smilingly tells Khushi that he will be fine if she decides to keep her own surname. In another scene, Dhakad, now Chulbul married to Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha) describes himself as a patni vrata pati.  

Salman Khan will play a local goon as young Chulbul Pandey before turning a cop. This time the makers will showcase Chulbul Pandey’s previous life and how he entered the police force. Even the villain Balli Singh (South star Kichcha Sudeep) will be introduced first in Chubul’s past life. Directed by Prabhu Deva, the movie has collected Rs 44.50 crore net in two days which is less for this film as it is a Salman Khan starrer. Mostly the film’s revenue is affected due to current law and order issues. 

Recently, Dabangg’3’s new song ‘Awara’ got relased, which is a romantic number between Khushi and Chulbul Pandey. Here you go:

The film is being shown in 3,500 screens and has released in four languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
