German luxury automaker Mercedes-Benz now unveils the 2020 G-Class SUV (facelift) in Europe. The premium road beast now comes with new colour options, the latest technology, and a host of new features. However, mechanically it is the same as the outgoing model.
The G-Class is continuing its over 40-year success story. From the manufacturing date 1 September 2020, the standard equipment for the iconic off-road vehicle is even more extensive. At the same time, there are also more personalisation options available through the G manufaktur programme. The Details
Outside, the Mercedes-Benz G350d flaunts the model’s signature muscular boxy look and runs on attractive 19-inch, five-spoke alloy wheels. The interior, meanwhile, gets premium leather seats among other niceties, as well as a 64-colour ambient lighting setup with 10 colour schemes. Functional enhancements also come courtesy of the new “Desert” drive program. It is activated via the DYNAMIC SELECT rocker switch and is designed for maximum traction on sandy terrain.
