The 24th edition of the International Indian Film Academy Awards was a three-day affair held from 27th September to 29th September in Abu Dhabi. Read below to know more about IIFA 2024.

The Schedule
With its commencement on 27th September and conclusion on 29th September, IIFA 2024 was a three-day event.
- The event marked its beginning with IIFA Utsavam which celebrated the beauty of South Indian film industries- Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu on 27th September.
- The second day, 28th September, was followed by IIFA Awards night hosted by our much loved King Khan, alongside Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar.
- The last day of IIFA 2024 was dedicated to celebrating the influence of fashion and music on cinema and was called the IIFA Rocks which was held on 29th September.
Day 1 – IIFA Utsavam
With the promise to celebrate Indian cinema across all languages and genres, the grand event of IIFA 2024 started with a bang with IIFA Utsavam celebrating talents from South Indian cinema. Hosted by stars like Rana Daggubatti, Teja Sajja, and others, this prestigious event honoured some of the finest talents of Indian cinema. Some of the notable names that took the honorary award home were Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for the Best Actress award for ‘PS – Part 2’, Mani Ratnam for the Best Director award for the same and Dhanush for the Best Actor award for his role in ‘Vaathi’.

Day 2 – IIFA Awards
Hosted by the power trio of Shahrukh Khan, Karan Johar, and Vicky Kaushal, the second day of this electrifying event didn’t disappoint in entertaining us, not even a little bit. Some of the names that won big time at the event are Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, and Sandeep Vanga’s ‘Animal’. Rani Mukherjee took home the award for Best Actress with her heart-touching performance in ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway’, while SRK won for his effortless and blockbuster performance in ‘Jawan’. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’ bagged the award for the ‘Best Film’ at the IIFA Awards 2024.
Day 3 – IIFA Rocks
The award ceremony of IIFA Rocks was held on the third and last day of the event to celebrate the best of the technicians across the various languages of Indian cinema. Hosted by Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Abhishek Banerjee, the evening was beautifully melodious thanks to spectacular performances from some of the best music maestros of India like the iconic trio of ‘Shankar-Ehsaan- Loy’. Some of the notable winners of the evening were ‘Ponniyin Selvan – Part 2’, ‘Animal’, and ‘Jawan’ across many different categories like screenplay and background score.
