The couturier Varun Bahl played a symphony of sophisticated colors that engulfed the stage in a pastel mood with Pantone’s colors of the year, Rose Quartz and Serenity through his collection ‘The Vintage Garden’. With special emphasis on craftsmanship, his collection was a collaboration of vintage touch with opulent baroque influences.
Florals stole the show as the major highlight of this collection. The happy print inspired by mother nature was complemented with floral motifs on sheer fabrics. The colour palette filled our eyes with the warmth of other soft pastels like ivory, pistachio, duck-egg blue, and pale pink to stronger tones of burgundy and midnight blue.
His collection was opulent but with a strong touch of grace that ignited the free flying spirit of a woman who loves to sway glamorously within layers of luxury wrapped around in relaxed silhouettes around her. Amidst many a prominent names of the industry, Tarun Tahiliani, Sandeep Khosla, and actor Randeep Hooda marked their presence and cheered excitedly as the designer brought an end to the affair of romantic fabrics.
