Louis Vuitton Monogrammed Billiards Set

Lifestyle Launch
Louis Vuitton

After introducing a made-to-order foosball table earlier this month, Louis Vuitton has continued its gaming-themed releases by unveiling its first billiards table. The table — initially teased by Kim Jones back in 2018 — is available in a number of colours and designs, including the house’s classic monogram. Therefore, this is the lifestyle launch that has excited many enthusiasts.

Other canvas options include the darker Monogram Eclipse and the Damier Graphite, while leather versions come in “Cyan,” “Fuchsia,” “Navy/Pistachio” and “Caramel/White.” The table itself is finished with tanned cowhide leather corners and hand-pressed metallic hardware, with each stud engraved with Louis Vuitton’s signature. Alongside the table, Louis Vuitton is releasing a range of accessories required for the game. This includes billiards balls painted with flowers taken from the Monogram pattern, two sets of monogrammed cues and a stamped triangle. ()

Hypebeast

A special announcement came our way on May 20. Forbes reported that understanding the power of having cult-like followers, Swiss watch brand Jacob & Co. unveils the powerful-looking Opera Scarface Musical watch. Collaborating with Universal Pictures to obtain the rights to use the name and likeness of Al Pacino, star of the famed Scarface movie, as well as other elements, Jacob & Co. is creating two versions of the highly complicated watch, which – with the push of a button – plays the Scarface movie melody, Bolivia Theme. The piece costs a whopping $360,000.

Hence, this lifestyle launch must not be missed. For the Opera Scarface watch, Jacob & Co. integrates details from the movie, including the artwork from the poster ad with Tony Montana’s image and the Scarface logo. When the wearer activates the pusher at 10:00 on the dial, the “Bolivia” music plays – via a 120-note music box — as the complex dial rotates 120 degrees in 30 seconds.
