Happiness Is The Key

The  best way to curb unnecessary worries and increase productivity is to overcome everything and find ways to keep yourself to happy. You can try a variety of activities from reading a book, meditating, watching films to talking to friends, picking up a hobby or just enjoying some time in nature. If you have children at your home try spending more time with them. Pets are also known to be amazing stress-busters. Listen to calming music and go about your day. What you eat also matters a lot during this time. Try to consume high-vibration food like fruits, grains and pulses and stay away from oily stuff and junk food.

Reminding yourself that this pandemic will not last forever is another key step to reducing your anxiety. It is very important to understand that in this situation we will learn more about ourselves, as well as others, due to the circumstances. If you are a professional, this hiatus is a great time to plan, write a book and learn a new hobby.

Follow A Routine

Work from home doesn’t mean that you can throw away your normal, regular routine out-of-the-window. Having a set routine can be helpful for reducing anxiety. No matter what, your routine should include waking up on time and going to sleep at a reasonable time each day, showering and spending time outside. A good 8-hour sleep is a must. Don’t deviate from a healthy, disciplined life. This will not only give you a sense of normalcy but will also ensure productivity. Eating and sleeping on a fixed time every day will also ensure a healthy body cycle. This is also a well-kept secret for remaining young always. Make sure to start your day with a warm glass of water, squeezed with some lime juice to detox your entire system. And…you are good to go. A routine will not only set the tone for the day but will also ensure that you give your best shot at whatever you do.

Exercising

Walks are a great way to boost your mind. They activate the upper part of your brain to reduce fear. Though you can’t hit the gym anymore, you can practice yoga and basic exercises in the comfortable and safe environs of your home. Try starting your day with skipping the rope some 200 times or you can also try suryanamskars. This will not only give you a rush of happy hormones but will also ensure that you are energetic enough for the day ahead. They also stimulate certain nerves to calm your body. You may feel vulnerable and alone so have Samaritans or other helplines to hand if you are overwhelmed. Most importantly, be kind to people around you.

So, this quarantine try being a better version of yourself. Eat well, sleep well, exercise and increase your productivity like never before.
