Build

Nikon

The Z 6 II is the first Nikon camera to be powered by two EXPEED 6 processing engines. They operate together to improve image processing, buffer capacity, and overall speed. You now have alternatives. One slot accommodates both CFExpress and XQD cards. The other slot supports normal SD cards. Use whichever format you like. Alternatively, use both slots and keep separate video and still files, or RAW and JPEG, to build a backup or maximize onboard storage.

Experience 14 FPS continuous shooting at full resolution RAW or JPG with a buffer that is 3.5 times larger than the previous generation and little EVF blackout between images. Capture exceptionally detailed 4K Ultra HD footage with a full-pixel readout. With an upcoming firmware upgrade, you’ll be able to capture at your preferred frame rate, including an extremely smooth 60p.

Features

Nikon Mirrorless Z 6 II

The number of features added to the Z6 II is innumerable, but here are some of the best ones.

Vertical Mode

Shoot vertically with functional controls like shutter release, command dials, the Fn button, and more, and gain up to a 1.9-fold increase in battery performance.

Autofocus Power

The Z 6 II’s 273-point hybrid AF system is optimised for stills, high-speed sequences, and video work, bringing performance enhancements, new Eye-Detection AF settings, and quicker AF mode selection.

Night Vision

With a significant improvement in low-light autofocus capability, the Z 6II can locate your target in half the available light as its predecessor. Continue shooting into the evening with the same fast, accurate autofocus performance.

Edge-to-Edge Coverage

The AF allows the user to compose their shot however they want from the start. Either manually select one of the 273 focus locations across the screen or let subject tracking select the focus points based on where your topic is in the frame, even at the far corners.

Eye Detection

The eye detection technology of the new Z 6 II enhances the accuracy and flexibility of the autofocus and quickly locks into the eyes of the subject.

Focus on Your Target

Now users may use Wide-Area Mode to define boundaries for eye detection. When you select a region of the picture, the Z 6II will only check for eyes in that area, which is ideal for busy scenarios, group shots, and pet portraits.

Eye Capture on Video

All of the functions of Eye-Detection AF are now available while video recording. Easily track moving subjects while keeping the film clear and professional to the eye.

Video Star

The Z 6II enhances the Z 6’s impressive video capabilities and may be Nikon’s most versatile video camera yet. It is an improved function of the camera that enables users to take videos more efficiently.
