Kajal Aggarwal married her longtime boyfriend Gautam Kitchlu in an absolutely gorgeous wedding ceremony on October 30 in a hotel in Mumbai. Immediate family members and friends attended their wedding. It was a traditional Kashmiri and Punjabi style wedding. They also ensured adherence to Covid-19 safety norms and regulations. Gautam and Kajal are now man and wife. Their photos from the wedding immediately went viral with fans and media actively circulating them.
Kajal wrote in her post: “And just like that, from Ms to Mrs! I married my confidante, companion, best friend and soulmate. So glad I found all of this and my home in you.” She added her wedding hashtag #kajgautkitched to her post.
Wedding Outfits
Ahead of their wedding, the couple shared various moments from their pre-wedding festivities. They had a sangeet ceremony. Nisha Aggarwal and friends of Gautam and Kajal performed at the sangeet. Post the sangeet, Gautam and Kajal prepared for their wedding looks. They looked perfect as a couple. Groom Gautam Kitchlu chose an off-white and silver Anita Dongre sherwani for the big day. On the other hand, Kajal Aggarwal looked gorgeous in a bright red Anamika Khanna lehenga with golden and silver embroidery.
Traditional Wedding
The invitations were opulent, the décor aesthetic. The mandap was elegantly adorned with flowers. The marriage took place in traditional Punjabi and Kashmiri style, as Kajal is a Punjabi and Gautam a Kashmiri. “We did not follow any specific wedding theme, but we wanted to incorporate elements of both Punjabi and Kashmiri cultures in this traditional wedding,” explained the bride’s sister Nisha.
“Guests, friends and relatives made speeches wishing the newlyweds. They all danced to several tunes and had a blast on the floor,” reported Nisha. Understandably, there were many emotional moments for the family. In the midst of celebrations, there were also tears, she said. “While we were basking in the glory of our celebrations, unknowingly, we were in tears as we watched Kajal in her stunning wedding ensemble,” she shared.
