The royal couple of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are expecting their second child together, their publicist announced on August 12. “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family!! Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support,” read a statement issued by the couple.
Kareena, 39, and Saif, 49, married on October 16, 2012. They also had their first child together on December 20, 2016. They have a three and a half-year-old son, Taimur, who is much adored and loved by the masses and paps. Wishes Pour In
The news invited a lot of social media attention to the Khan family. Sweet wishes poured in as the couple made the public announcement. Saif Ali Khan’s sister Soha was the first one to congratulate the couple (more on that later). On social media, Kareena’s cousin Riddhima Kapoor Sahni (Rishi and Neetu Kapoor’s daughter), posted a picture. It starred mom-to-be Kareena Kapoor. She heartily wrote in her Instagram story, “Congratulations Bebo and Saif.” Responding to Riddhima’s wish, Kareena wrote, “Thank you sista,” adding a heart emoji. (Source: NDTV)
Meanwhile, Rhea Kapoor who happens to be a close friend of Kareena and had produced her 2018 film Veere Di Wedding, wrote in her Instagram story: “Congratulations, Kareena Kapoor. My lucky charm, veere for life. Guess which producer is on the other end of baby Khan No 2?” She added the hashtags #Rulebreakers and #Foreverheroine.
