Karnataka Tourism Wraps Up Gujarat Roadshows

Discover how Karnataka Tourism strengthened trade ties through successful Gujarat roadshows connecting travel partners across four major cities.

The Karnataka Tourism Society (KTS) has successfully concluded its Gujarat Series B2B Roadshows, marking another milestone in promoting Karnataka Tourism across India’s key domestic travel markets. Organised in association with the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, the Department of Tourism, Government of Karnataka, Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC), and Jungle Lodges & Resorts Ltd. (JLR), the four-city roadshow was held from June 24 to 27, 2026, covering Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, and Surat.

The event attracted over 600 travel buyers who interacted with 40 tourism stakeholders from Karnataka, creating valuable networking opportunities and encouraging new business partnerships. Representatives from leading hotels, resorts, travel companies, and hospitality brands showcased the state’s rich mix of heritage, wildlife, eco-tourism, luxury stays, adventure experiences, and cultural attractions, highlighting the diversity of Karnataka Tourism.

To make the events more engaging, organisers hosted quizzes based on Karnataka’s tourist destinations along with raffle draws at every venue. Winners received complimentary stay vouchers and gift hampers, helping strengthen connections between the state’s tourism industry and Gujarat’s travel trade community.

Speaking on the success of the initiative, K. Syama Raju, President of Karnataka Tourism Society, said the enthusiastic participation reflected Gujarat’s importance as one of Karnataka’s strongest domestic tourism markets. He noted that the roadshows built on the momentum of the recently concluded “Discover Chikkamagaluru” campaign and reinforced Karnataka’s commitment to attracting both domestic and international travellers.

Jagadeesh H., Secretary of Karnataka Tourism Society, emphasised the importance of strong government-private partnerships in expanding tourism outreach. He also announced an extensive calendar of upcoming domestic roadshows that will cover major cities across Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Punjab, NCR, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Central India.

With a successful Gujarat chapter now complete, Karnataka Tourism continues to strengthen its nationwide presence through strategic collaborations, helping position the state as one of India’s most diverse and sought-after travel destinations.
