After Independence, 3 states were divided to form new states. Out of that, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh Cricket Board got recognized but the Bihar Cricket Board didn’t due to lack of infrastructure. The 3rd most populous state of India wasn’t given the status. Kirti Azad struggled for 12 to 14 years to get that status.
