11.11
This season 11.11 collaborated with WWF-India, the C&A Foundation and SRIJAN (who have been actively involved in reviving the cultivation of organic cotton in Madhya Pradesh) presented their latest collection. Giving a contemporary spin to basic ethnic separates, the label played to its strengths by incorporating the age-old craft techniques of bandhani and kalamkari on a variety of khadi cotton fabrics. Mustards, navy blues, whites and reds dominated the colour story for this collection.

Abraham & Thakore

Abraham and Thakore paid an ode to kurtas in their new sustainable collection, which featured pieces made with LENZING™ ECOVERO™, a sustainable and environmentally responsible viscose fibre. The colour palette was a mixture of black, ivory, olive and khaki.

Athiya Shetty turns showstopper for the designer duo Abraham and Thakore. On the ramp, Athiya donned a stunning monochrome statement saree with a twist. Incorporating the old glory of the nine yards with the new age printing technology, the designers made Athiya walked the ramp in a saree that gave us the 60s vibe.

Athiya’s saree featured frilled borders and long pallu accentuating her svelte silhouette. She paired the saree with a collared blouse that also featured black and white stripes. She styled her ensemble with statement long earrings and black feather-adorned slip-on. For her glam, Athiya went with mauve lips, cat eye line, light hint of blush, shimmery eye shadow and dewy make-up. The Hero star rounded off her look with side-parted light wavy open locks. The designer’s festival/winter collection showcased a palette of black, ivory, olive and khaki, with remarkably simple, block printed motifs.
