Recently, Lithiyum, was launched at the Hotel Ashok in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. It is a club, lounge, and fine dine property. The aim is to provide Delhi with a combination of “superior fine dine, gastropub nightlife and a cocktaileria”.
“The main aim is to give that kinda of a space where you can come out of the club room and enjoy sheesha in a sitting area, have the time of your life at foam parties and rain dances, watch Live screening of matches,” disclosed M.D of the initiative, Mr. Saurabh Katyal. The two day launch party was attended by celebrated food and hospitality influencers such as Restaurateur Mickey Mehta and Umang Tewari, Celebrity Chef Akshay Nayyar and Masterchef 2016 contestants, Siddharth Talwar, Rohini Chawla, Sadaf Hussain, and many more. Other personalities from the industry included, Punjabi Singer SukhE, Actor Zulfi Syed, Model Preeti Vohra, and DJ Mickey.

Conceptualized by Saurabh Katyal, the 13,800 sq. ft. property is divided into three sections, The Club Room, the Drawing Room, and the Arena. Katyal claims that the Lithiyum’s Club Room is an amalgamation of the best mixes, the perfect pitch, and the right timbre which balances the intensity of the sound.
The Arena is the lounge area to meet up, and hang out with people. It provides with a “Watery Brunch” at noon, and has an indoor waterfall to provide relaxation and rejuvenation. On the other hand, the Drawing Room is for the people who prefer luxurious, fine dining. It provides high end services by trained butlers and a multicuisine food menu which has been put together by the internationally known celebrity chef, Akshay Nayyar.
Understanding the importance of the night life ambiance during hen parties, Mr. Saurabh Katyal mentions, “We would be happy to host bachelor and hen parties here. The main motive was to give an elite experience that has an amalgamation of dining area, club room, and a drawing room.” The ambiance definitely makes the lounge a must-check for bachelor party planners who are fervently searching for ‘one destination’ in the capital that can quench the demands of the party goers – from crazy music, scrumptious food, to misty sitting areas vibing with light music and intoxicating smokes of sheesha.
