Day 3 of the LMIFW SS’2020 began with designer Nithya Reddy showcasing her designs on the runway.
Nithya Reddy’s abundant love for nature is seen in each bespoke and prêt pieces she crafts. To show the magic of nature though her outfits, she has come up with a unique collection, ‘Fiora Tales’ this time. The inspiration for this collection comes from the beautiful floral walls of the vintage French houses.

Nidhika Shekhar’s Collection is inspired by those women who recognize, embrace and celebrity their identity, i.e. “Periods”. Colour palette and fabric which has been used to depict the journey of a female through this cycle. Like Organzas in pure white, organza Khadi and pure linen with delicate embroidery and cut work.

Rahul and Anushka’s collection is all about: Janani, Amba, Jagdamba- Story of Kargha to Kamyabi. Woman is compassion, power and balance. Balancing love, compassion, yet ruling the world with a small hand, the empowered woman is the inspiration behind this collection. This collection explores interesting drapes using handloom fabric through contemporary sarees, angrakhas, layered kurtas and tie up pants.

Mahima Mahajan, the ‘Flower Child’. With her, fashion meets function – traditional embroidery blends seamlessly with western silhouettes, creating the perfect balance between fluidity & structure. Miroir’, her Spring/Summer ’20 collection is about Fresh silhouettes, in a myriad of pop colours with kaleidoscopic mirror & sequin embroidery define Miroir. While experimenting with colour, technique & fabric, Mahima has stayed true to her roots, with a touch of whimsy & an abundance of florals!
