TV actors Manish Raisinghan and Sangeita Chauhaan tied the knot in a Gurudwara, amidst pandemic on Tuesday. Theirs was a low-key ceremony in Mumbai on June 30. Hence, attended by just family members, while friends watched the ceremony over a video call. The Sasural Simar Ka actor Raisinghan took care of the government guidelines for weddings during the pandemic, with only 10 people attending the gurudwara wedding.
Sangeita Chauhan wore a rani pink benarasi suit with a matching face mask. The bride looked pretty clad in a statement necklace, chooda and kaleere. Manish complemented her in a soft pink kurta paired with an indigo Jawahar jacket. (Source: NDTV)
Sangeita’s friend Purva Pandit shared a picture of the newlyweds inside the gurudwara on her Instagram story. She had joined the wedding through a video call. She declared in her story, “Mr and Mrs Raisinghan… I humbly invoke loads of love, light and laughter for your journey as husband and wife.” Shruti Badjatya Mainra, a former radio jockey, also shared snaps of the couple outside the gurudwara.

Ahead of the ceremony, Sangeita took to social media to share their wedding invite and narrated their love story with pictures. “It’s finally official! WE ARE GETTING MARRIED !!! This was the time when I met him first to know him as a great friend which landed me to fall in love with him head over heals soon for the kind of person he is… still can’t believe how time has passed and here we are today sharing our vows! Earlier speaking to Delhi Times, Manish Raisinghan shared that his father asked him to consider tying the knot given him taking a break from work. The actor said that is when he instantly called Sangeita to propose. And soon their parents also talked on a video call. Not wishing to risk their parents’ health during the coronavirus pandemic, the couple decided to tie the knot with just three of their siblings around.
