Mohit Marwah Ties The Knot To His Long Time Girlfriend

Mohit Marwah, son of Sandeep Marwah, owner of Noida’s Film City and Antara Motiwala, celebrity stylist were pronounced husband and wife on February 20, 2018. After a three-day-long celebration at Waldorf Astoria Ras al-Khaimah, UAE, Mohit and Antara took the wedding vows in presence of family members and friends. The pre-wedding celebrations started on February 19, 2018. Marwah is Anil Kapoor’s nephew, which means the Kapoor family was in full attendance at all the events.

Cousins to the groom, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor filled our Instagram feeds with their pictures. The star-studded ceremony also witnessed the presence of young generation of the Kapoor family – Rhea Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor. Other celebrities like Boney Kapoor, Sridevi, Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Karan Johar, Abhishek Bachchan, Karisma Kapoor and Sweta Nanda were also a part of the festivities.

The celebrations kicked off with a  colourful mehendi ceremony during the day, which was followed by a cocktail party. The bride opted for a range of Manish Malhotra ensembles, picking a pastel chikankari lehenga bursting with blooms for her mehendi and a shimmery lehenga for her cocktail party. For her wedding day, she chose a heavy lehenga in a pastel shade. The groom stuck to a neutral palette. A white jacket and kurta for the mehendi, a black achkan for the sangeet and a beige sherwani with a white saafa on the day of his pheras made for his stylish wedding wardrobe.

Arjun Kapoor was spotted not just taking over the dance floor with his cousin Akshay Marwah, but he also co-hosted the cocktail party with Rhea Kapoor. Shanaya Kapoor was also spotted shaking a leg with Anshula Kapoor and other cousins. Athiya Shetty, Kunal Rawal, Maheep Kapoor and Anshula Kapoor also seemed to be having a blast at the wedding celebrations.
