Neeraj Chopra, a two-time Olympic medallist and famous javelin thrower, has tied the knot to Himani Mor in an intimate ceremony!
On Sunday, former Olympic javelin champion Neeraj Chopra shared the news of his wedding with his fans on social media, via several photos from the intimate ceremony. Neeraj and Himani tied the knot in Himachal surrounded by 40-50 close friends and family. While sharing the enchanting images from his dreamy ceremony on his Instagram, the player wrote, “Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after.” As they begin this new phase together, the two-time Olympic medallist requested support and blessings from his fans.

Neeraj’s wife, Himani is a 25-year-old tennis player from Sonipat, where she attended Little Angels School. She is in the United States pursuing a Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. She previously graduated from Delhi’s Miranda House with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Physical Education. Himani has a brother, Himanshu, who is also a tennis player. She represented Delhi University nationally and competed in the 2017 World University Games in Taipei. According to her school’s website, she won a gold medal in the World Junior Tennis Championship in Malaysia in 2016.
On the professional front, Neeraj is set to host a Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition in the country. The event has received endorsement from World Athletics and the Athletics Federation of India. Although the exact date remains unconfirmed, several reports suggest it is most likely to occur in May. The competition will feature some of the top men’s and women’s javelin throwers, including India’s very own Neeraj.
