Another lockdown wedding took place during quarantine and love won over pandemic. Telugu actor Nikhil Siddhartha tied the sacred knot with Dr Pallavi Varma in an intimate ceremony in Hyderabad on Thursday morning. The #NikPal wedding even included innovative decorations saying ‘Mask Here, Sanitisers There, Love Everywhere’. Family members and close friends rejoiced as the traditional South Indian wedding exuded joy in the faces of the couple.
“Keeping in mind the Govt Guidelines on COVID19… All Guests were screened and safety precautions (were) taken at #NikhilPallavi Wedding today,” the actor said in an Instagram post.
The couple took to Instagram in sharing the beautiful snaps from their dainty wedding ceremony. Initially, Siddhartha shared the pictures from his Haldi ceremony and captioned it ‘PELLI KODUKU READY’. Later, he shared pictures of the gorgeous wedding ceremony surrounded by the love and warmth of the family present for the occasion. The pictures have been doing turns on social media since then.
The Delayed Celebrations
In the pictures, Nikhil Siddhartha looks dapper in a golden sherwani and red accentuates. While on the other hand, Pallavi Varma looks gorgeous in a red saree with golden details. She paired it with a green blouse and a beautiful smile for the perfect bridal aura. The relatives in the background were wearing facemasks for protection against COVID-19. The ceremony looked beautiful.
Previously, the adorable couple was engaged on February 1, 2020, in a private ceremony. April 16 was the decided wedding date, earlier. But the lockdown and COVID-19 related restrictions evidently stalled the wedding celebrations. But now, they finally let their love win as they enhanced the much-hyped wedding to a private affair. During a recent interview, Nikhil shared that he is looking forward to a perfect wedding but can’t due to the current situation. Hence, the families decided to organise the ceremony amid lockdown in the presence of close family members, Pinkvilla reported.
Telugu film producer Raju BA attended the wedding and graced social media with adorable pictures of ceremonies. Celebrities from the South Indian movie fraternity poured in their wishes on social media as well. Among the ones who wished include names like Harish Shankar S, Allari Naresh and Sai Dharam Tej.

Before this, when Nikhil Siddhartha Pallavi Varma engaged with each other in a very traditional ceremony. The engagement was a private affair with close family and friends in attendance. Pallavi Varma is a doctor by profession and hails from Bhimavaram in Andhra Pradesh. The duo spent quite some time in a relationship for close to two years. Then they got engaged, and finally tied the knot.
Siddhartha is a popular Telugu actor who made his debut as a lead actor in the movie ‘Happy Days’ directed by Shekhar Kammula. He later rose to fame with his successful movie ‘Swamy Ra Ra’ by Sudheer Varma. Apart from these, he has worked in various Telugu movies including ‘Ankit’, ‘Pallavi & Friends’, ‘Karthikeya’, ‘Keshava’ and ‘Kirrak Party’ among others.
