The autumn/winter 2025 ready-to-wear fashion show season has officially ended with the most anticipated Paris Fashion Week, following New York, London and Milan. All the big names have now put their collections up front, and we have a lot to say.

The season kicked off with a bang in New York, starting with an off-schedule Marc Jacobs SS25 show. The week continued with Calvin Klein, Michael Kors and Tory Burch. Next stop, London, where big names like Burberry, Simone Rocha and Erdem showed up, followed by Milan with names like Gucci and Fendi. Now we are finally in Paris, where the lineup looked as exciting as it could be from the very beginning. This year’s Paris Fashion Week showcased a dynamic fusion of contemporary aesthetics and nostalgic harm, with some notable debuts and impactful celebrity presence.

Dior’s Farewell to Chiuri?

Paris Fashion Week

Although Maria Grazia Chiuri still has at least two more shows to present, this one in the Paris Fashion Week is probably her last ready-to-wear collection for Dior. She gave a few hints about it with the ominous soundtrack at the start of the show, a monochrome palette and an austere, creating a funeral atmosphere that we haven’t seen before in her work. She highlighted the label’s signature elements like the “J’adore Dior” t-shirt and baroque pearls through a contemporary lens. The designer recreated prehistoric feminine magic, supported by the cosmic set design.

Laptop to Lapdance by Stella McCartney

Infusing ‘80s glam into corporate attire, Stella McCartney stirred the crowd with her collection “From Laptop to Lapdance”. The collection screamed a smart woman who is educated, independent, an entrepreneur and a boss. From dress-for-success suits that remiss you of American Psycho to shimmering silk gowns, McCartney stole the spotlight with innovation, once again.

Alexander McQueen’s Dandyism Magic

Paris Fashion Week

Taking inspiration from the 19th-century artistic style, Dandyism, Sean McGirr created a collection that is as playful as transgressive. Keeping up with the label’s iconic avant-garde reputation, the collection featured dramatic necks, structured silhouettes as well as flowy fabrics. It represents identity, idealism and gender, representing Dandy’s radical spirit in today’s world.

Saint Laurent’s Masterclass Colour Blocking

Paris Fashion Week

Saint Laurent closed the Paris Fashion Week this year with an unexpected twist to their collection. Creative director Anthony Vaccarello who is known for using black and earthy tones, mastered the art of colour blocking with vivid colours in this collection. The combination of red and orange or blue and purple was a homage paid to the late legend Yves Saint Laurent. Some animal and floral prints with funnel necklines and chunky necklaces were the highlight of the show.

Star Presence

Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week this year, like every other year, was studded with stars in the front row. From Deepika Padukone looking fabulous for Louis Vuitton to Sydney Sweeney attending Miu Miu’s front row or Tyla attending Chanel show in pink tweed, Paris Fashion Week was a glamorous affair on all fronts.
