Indian designer Rahul Mishra debuted his jaw-dropping collection Cosmos this season — showcased his art as he explored the vastness of the universe, and the part humanity plays in it through his designs. Talking about his latest collection, Mishra reflected on his connection to the natural world from his early days and emphasised Indian craftsmanship. With this collection, he reinvented handmade embroidery with 3D motifs, beadwork, and cast metal ornaments such as birds, ladybugs, jellyfish, starfish, and his signature style of adding intricate layers that create depth — seeks to incite curiosity and a sense of fantasy. ‘Emily In Paris’ famed Ashley Park had a front-row seat in Mishra’s show and looked drop-dead gorgeous in a shimmery golden layered-petals dress.
