YouTuber-turned-actor Prajakta Koli just tied the knot with longtime beau Vrishank Khanal in a beautiful ceremony this Tuesday. The couple got married at Oleander Farms in Karjat in the presence of family and friends. Everyone’s favourite MostlySane, Prajakta’s wedding was a nature-inspired dreamy affair. The beautiful wedding was planned by the event planner ‘The Dream team’. The outdoor venue was decorated with flora and fauna, creating a scenic backdrop for the couples to exchange vows. The bride’s wedding attire also celebrated nature, projecting the couple’s values and principles in the most beautiful way.
Prajakta Koli and Vrishank Khannal both wore custom Anita Dongre attire for their big day. While the Mismatched star donned a cream-colour bridal lehenga, the groom complemented her in an ivory sherwani.
In a behind-the-scenes reel posted on Instagram, Parajakta Koli talks about how the lehenga chose her in the best way possible. She mentioned that she only wanted to be an Anita bride. She was determined to be distinct and not wear anything red for her big day. When the ace designer showed her the hand-painted lehenga, it immediately won Prajaka’s heart. Apart from the intricate Picchwai work done on it by the artisans of Jaipur, the lehenga features small Parijat flowers. Prajkata’s name also means Parijat, making the lehenga even more special. It was the first and only lehenga she tried on and she knew that it was perfect for her.
The stunning lehenga features a choli, a lehenga skirt, a dupatta and a veil to complete her outfit. The blouse has a V-neckline and sequin and bead embellishments, while the skirt features an A-line silhouette and handpainted Picchwai art. With her hair with soft waves left loose with a centre parting, Prajakta Koli wore a maang tikka, a choker necklace, earrings, bangles, kadhas and rings to accessorise. The jewellery pieces were handcrafted in Rajasthan, also by designer Anita Dongre. The actress kept her makeup look glam but minimal, featuring flushed cheeks, nude brown lips, feathered brows and mascara.
Prajakta has also shared lovely photos from her Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet celebrations. She wore a red kurta set, an Anita Dongre green co-ord set, a red saree and a white suit set for these festivities, looking absolutely stunning in every one of the outfits.
