The Bollywood heartthrob, Ranbir Kapoor who became every girl’s dream boy the moment he set foot in this industry with his towel dance in Saawariya, turned 37 today. The actor celebrated his 37th birthday with family and close friends at his Bandra house. Rishi Kapoor, who fought cancer and emerged victoriously was seen with wife Neetu Kapoor. An array of actors were on the guest list of the Brahmasatra actor. Shahrukh Khan with wife Gauri Khan, Amir Khan with wife Kiran Rao, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapoor and directors Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar and Anurag Basu all attended the birthday bash. Alia Bhatt wasn’t spotted by the paparazzi but a picture doing the rounds on the internet reveals a different story.

Ranbir started his journey behind the curtains as an Assistant Director for the film ‘Aa ab laut chale’ which was being directed by his father Rishi Kapoor. He then moved to New York to learn film making at the School of Visual Arts. After coming back, he moved on to assisting Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the film ‘Black’. Finally, the actor got his first break on the big screen with director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
