Rina Dhaka supports the cause of girl child empowerment at ICW ‘17

Designer Rina Dhaka known for her innovative textile skills in Indian wear and her international sensibilities for western outfits showcased her couture collection at the FDCI Indian Couture Week 2017, held at the Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi.

Narayan Jewellers by Ketan and Jatin Chokshi, Vadodara, one the most acknowledged and reliable jewellery brand of Gujarat, launched their new bridal collection with  designer Rina Dhaka at the event, presented by the #HonorTheSmile campaign, which is an initiative by NGO Smile Foundation and Honor8Pro. The campaign supports the cause of girl child empowerment.

“I am supporting the cause #HonorTheSmile which supports the girl child empowerment with the Smile Foundation. As I make my way through beads and baubles, necklines and hemlines, I repeat to myself and to the world to make sure to SMILE and spread Smiles”, shared the designer.

The new jewellery collection showcased at the #HonorTheSmile fashion presentation featured voluminous bold looks like, dripping necklaces, wondrous centre-pieces, oversized gems and entangled motifs. The silhouettes represented the relevant half of yin and yang which is softness and sensuality. Elements of royal Kundan jewellery, lent a glow to the collection.

The fabrics were especially developed by Narayan Fabrics, and reflected the dazzle of the jewellery. Actress Huma Qureshi was the showstopper for the designer. She looked ethereal in hues of gold and silver, and blended into the theme. Her outfit, paired with Narayan Jewellers’ timeless scintillating necklace created a defining opulence which refined sophistication. The diamond encrusted neckpiece consisted of a choker necklace, attached to another cascading multi-layered neckpiece.

This new Bridal collection of 2017 by Narayan Jewellers by Ketan and Jatin Chokshi, Vadodara included stunning diamond, jadau and gold neckpieces, chandelier earrings, bracelets, traditional kadas and stunning naths.
