SAMHI Executes Agreement with Marriott for Rebranding Two Hotels

SAMHI hotels has entered into an agreement with Marriott for the rebranding of its hotels in Pune and Jaipur, promising a better future for the hospitality industry.

SAMHI hotels, a prominent hotel ownership and asset management platform in India,has informed exchanges about entering into agreements with Marriott. This is for the rebranding of two of its hotels acquired as part of ACIC portfolio.

This management agreement with Marriott includes rebranding of its 217 rooms hotel in Pune to a Courtyard by Marriott branded hotel. The conversion and rebranding will occur post a renovation set to conclude by the end of FY2026. The renovation and rebranding will allow the hotel to reposition itself in the Pune hotel market, which has performed well over the past few years. This will be the second Courtyard by Marriott owned by SAMHI Hotels, with the other being its highly successful Courtyard by Marriott at Outer Ring Road, in Bengaluru.

It has entered into another management agreement with Marriott for the rebranding of its 114 rooms hotel in Jaipur to a Tribute Portfolio branded hotel.  The conversion and rebranding will occur post a renovation set to conclude by the end of FY2026. Over the past decade, the interest in Indian tourism has increased tenfold. Considering this, the state most exciting to the tourists has been Rajasthan, especially the pink city of Jaipur. It has evolved into a key tourism and business destination in India, and over a period of years has drawn strong interests from national and international visitors. 

With the hotel being located in the heart of the city, the rebranding will improve the hotel’s positioning in the market significantly. Moreover, the addition of the hotel to Tribute Portfolio is even more advantageous as it is a collection of characterful, independent hotels drawn together by their passion for captivating design and their drive to create vibrant social scenes for guests and locals alike.

In addition, SAMHI hotels has also signed agreements with Marriott for the other four ACIC hotels to be converted from franchise to management agreements.
