priyanka chopra

There is quite a rare chance that you think of style statements and Priyanka Chopra is not on the list. Likewise, while we discuss our love for Handloom sarees and B-Town divas taking it all seriously, then the first one would be Priyanka Chopra Jonas’s blue and silver detail-designed Banarasi saree from ‘Ekaya Banaras’. The cut sleeve blouse and the vibrant blue hue of the saree are what makes it a head turner and what better than Priyanka Chopra Jonas wearing it, right?

True performer: Vidya Balan

vidya balan

Well, we all know by now that Vidya Balan is one of the best divas in promoting the #VocalForLocal campaign and supporting the handloom artisans of our country. Out of many of her stunning handloom sarees, the one we would like to throw some light on would be her saree from her latest venture’s promotional event. The actress wore a stunning and gorgeous saree from ‘Aish illustrations’ for #Sherni promotions. The tiger print on the saree, accompanied by some leafy and floral prints is what gave us a heartwarming realization of the power of Indian handlooms.

It girl: Sonam Kapoor Ahuja

What can one say about Bollywood’s It girl, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja is all about marking statements wherever she goes. Likewise, talking about the contribution of handloom artisans and the campaign of #VocalForLocal, Sonam wore a pretty saree from ‘Anavila’. It was a subtle and minimal-looking saree with a reddish tone and a thin gold border. The ace actress teamed up her handloom beauty along with a matching cape.

Sweet as sugar: Dia Mirza
