Shilpa Shetty All Set For A Comeback

After ruling the big screen for a long time, Shilpa Shetty Kundra is ready to recreate her magic with her film ‘Nikamma’. The actress, who has been missing from the screen is making a comeback after 13 years. An elated Shilpa took to Instagram to make the big announcement.

Directed by Sabbir Khan, the film will also star ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota’ actor Abhimanyu Dassani and YouTube singer Shirley Setia. Shetty, who has been active on the small screen as a reality show judge, was last seen on the big screen in a full-fledged role in the 2007 film ‘Apne’.

The actress will also be seen tickling funny bones alongside veteran actor Paresh Rawal in the sequel of his 2003 comedy film ‘Hungama’. They will be joined by Meezaan and Pranita Subhash in this project. Shilpa Shetty took to social media to announce the news. Sharing a poster of the film, the actress wrote, “Happy to be a part of the reboot of everyone’s favourite comedy entertainer #Hungama2! Grateful to be working again with Ratanji who introduced me to this industry and @priyadarshandir Sir for the first time. @rtnjn @meezaanj @pranitasubhash @venusmovies @hungama2film (sic).”

Just like the first film, ‘Hungama 2’ will be directed by Priyadarshan. The first film, which hit screens in 2003, starred Akshay Khanna, Aftab Shivdasani, Rimi Sen and Paresh Rawal in pivotal roles. ‘Hungama 2’ is set to hit screens on August 14, 2020.
