Sood also donated 25,000 face shields to Mumbai Police so they fight the deadly virus with more precaution. Sharing the news, Anil Deshmukh also posted a picture with Sonu and thanked the actor for his generous contribution. He plans on not taking an off on his birthday too. For the day, he plans to organise medical camps across the country, which he expects around 50,000 people to attend. The entire nation is thankful to him!

Sood’s twitter has been flooding been fan messages since started sending migrant workers home. Among these, many tweets are hilarious and Sood always manages to find witty replies to each of them! The coronavirus pandemic is proving to be a real test for relationships and one woman was tired of being constantly holed up with her husband for over two months. Twitter user Sushrima Acharya requested Sonu to transport either her husband out of the house or her to her mother’s house. “@SonuSood I am staying with my husband from Janta Curfew to lock down 4. Can u either send him or send me to my mother’s house, as I can’t stay with him any more,” she tweeted to the actor, who came up with a cool solution. “I have a better plan .. let me send both of you to Goa. He teams up with Penguin Random House to shed light on what inspired him to undertake the mammoth task and the rescue missions he headlined. The book, untitled as of now, will be out later this year and published by Ebury Press. Speaking on it, the author said, “The past three and half months have been a kind of a life-changing experience for me, living with the migrants for sixteen to eighteen hours a day and sharing the pain. When I go to see them off as they begin their journey back home, my heart is filled with joy and relief.
