India’s fashion wheel is ever-rotating with emerging and established designers experimenting with futuristic fashion to create ensembles that enhance human beauty. Over the years, men’s fashion in the country has evolved with intelligent innovations and dedicated menswear designers. Honouring this evolution and presenting a stage for the future of menswear was the FDCI India Men’s Weekend presented by Chivas Luxe Collective Perfumes at Diggi Palace, Jaipur on 15th and 16th February 2025. 26 talented designers from across the country presented traditional outfits and gender-fluid modern fashion over the weekend. NoughtOne
The Gen Z fashion public is in love with the oversized streetwear aesthetic and NoughtOne by Abhishek Paatni aptly merged utilitarian fashion with hybrid street style for them. Oversized jackets, trousers and a bold colour palette found home in the collection by the brand established in 2016.
JJ Valaya
For the spring-summer grooms of 2025, designer JJ Valaya brought the ‘Czaar of Indian Fashion’ on the ramps of FDCI India Men’s Weekend. One of the founding members of FDCI and Swarovski’s first global ambassador, the designer created a range of grooms wear outfits including sherwani, bandhgala kurta, Nehru jackets and more in luxurious fabrics and traditional prints. Paired with regal jewellery, belts, turbans and juttis, his designs set the trends for groom fashion in 2025.
Shantnu & Nikhil
The paradox of the desert inspired designers Shantnu & Nikhil to create ‘Mirage’ a collection toying with drapery in reimagined forms with earthy hues, textured embroideries and leather appliques, portraying a tale of survival and strength.
Ashish N Soni
Designer Ashish N Soni took inspiration from the effortlessly stylish European summer to merge relaxed tailoring with classic denim. Double denim combinations dominated the designs with tailored striped shirts, high-waisted baggy jeans, flared jeans and double-breasted blazers. Printed scarves and ties, and layered necklaces added an Indian touch to each look.

Khanjio
Khanjio’s collection ‘Rajasthan Reverie’ reimagined the fabled love story of Dhola and Maru through a rebellious, poetic lens. Prints and narrative motifs found home in vibrant modern silhouettes perfect for the modern-day man who combines contemporary fashion with traditions.
Mahima Mahajan
Designer Mahima Mahajan decided to dress the new-age groom for her new campaign “MM is the New Man” for the ‘Fawaz’ collection presented at the FDCI India Men’s Weekend. A masculine collection collaborating with modern manhood, the designer elevated new designs with nature-inspired motifs embellished with sequins, beads and more.
Samant Chauhan
The spirit of bike travel where freedom, adventure and nature merge inspired designer Samant Chauhan to create the collection “On the Road Again.” He captured the essence of the raw beauty of the open road and the textures of the natural world in layered fits with an earthy palette and loads of prints. Essentially, the collection emphasised the journey as much as the destination.
Bloni
Merging the past and future through gender-agnostic and future-thinking designs, Bloni by Akshat Bansal focused on anatomy, body politics, and hybrid identities through earth matter and unexpected fabrics. From a bathrobe couture look to a see-through rubber jacket, Bloni created some of our favourite looks at FDCI India Men’s Weekend.
