Like every other ‘90s girl, I wanted to have a Raj waiting for me in a field full of mustard flowers, or to meet an Aditya on a random train journey. The sweet romance of these evergreen love stories made us giggle and throw our feet, whereas the heart-wrenching tragic romantic drama movies made us cry our hearts out. One way or another, Bollywood has a huge impact on us and how we see love.

With a strong supporting cast, the movie is a light-hearted must-watch. The fashion, the songs, the characters, this movie has all the classics. Released back in 2001, Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein is a movie about a young Maddy impersonating another man who the lead woman is supposed to marry. Sounds problematic? Yes, it is. But is it worth watching? 100% yes. Without this film we may have never had R Madhavan in Bollywood, and thank God for that. A debutant Diya Mirza as the lead while Anupam Kher and Saif Ali Khan shine as supporting cast. But it was Harris Jayaraj’s music that stole the show with a music album that features hit music for every mood.
