Yes! You heard it right. DKNY teamed up with jewellery designer Martin Katz to come up with this precious.  What makes it expensive is the bottle. The bottle is adorned with 2,909 stones from across the globe. The way they have been arranged mimics New York’s magnificent skyline. The bottle includes, 183 yellow sapphires, 2,700 white diamonds, a 7.18-carat oval Cabochon sapphire from Sri Lanka, 15 dazzling pink diamonds from Australia, 4 rose-cut diamonds, a 1.6-carat turquoise Paraiba tourmaline from Brazil, a 3.07-carat oval-cut ruby, a 4.03-carat pear shape rose-cut diamond and a 2.43-carat luminous yellow Canary diamond that sits on the cap. There’s nothing more exquisite than this in the world of fragrances.

2. Clive Christian No. 1 Imperial Majesty ($12,721.89 Per Ounce i.e. Rs.8,94,348)

Clive Christian is a British designer known for designer kitchens, but best known for this premium fragrance. The No. 1 For women has subtle tones of Indian jasmine and Tahitian vanilla, Tonka bean seeds, sandalwood, cedarwood, musk are combined together for an exquisite fragrance.  The bottle itself is of nest polished crystal and in the 18-carat gold collar, there nestles a white diamond. Only 10 bottles of this luxurious fragrances were made.

The fragrance, a homage to Egyptian rituals was meant to address the new millennium. Inside the crystal bottle is a majestic blend of Egyptian cassie, pepper flower, jasmine, rose, germanium, balsams, myrrh and amber.

4. Chanel Grand Extrait ($4,200 Per Ounce i.e. Rs. 2,96,331)

A highly sought after by connoisseurs and fragrance collectors, this is enclosed in a crystal clear glass bottle and is sealed by the art of baudrachage, the art of covering the neck of the bottle with a fine membrane, which is held in place by a strand of white pearl-cotton thread, then sealed with a black wax stamp. The fragrance is a subtle blow of flowers.

5. Clive Christian No.1 ($2,150 per ounce i.e. Rs.1,51,193)

This fragrance was the most expensive perfume in the world in the year 2006, it is available in two flavours, woody oriental for men and floral oriental for women.
