Vijay Anand solo Art Show ‘Of Dichotomous Journeys’

Vijay Anand pleased the capital by unveiling his solo art show ‘Of Dichotomous Journeys’ at the Artspeaks India Gallery. The art show revealed a range of abstract art by the artist.

The event commenced by Bhaichand Patel lighting the lamp, who voiced encouraging and appreciating words for Vijay and appreciated the artist for his years of dedication in art. He averred, “I have known Vijay for very long time now but only as a renowned architect and it was later I was introduced to his spectacular skill in art and feel more proud to be associated with him.”

Careful incorporation of acrylic and watercolors was done to create abstract art and to add depth and reality to the work, various elements like wood, skeins and others were put to use.

An opportunity for the art enthusiasts, the show exhibited a series of artwork giving a glimpse into the colorful and experimental series. Ashwini Pai Bahadur, Gallerist, herself being an art enthusiast felt proud to showcase Vijay Anand’s work in her gallery Artspeaks. She expressed her views “With Vijay Anand’s vibrant and experimental series of work, the gallery got another fresh perspective to cherish with.”

At the event the artist averred, “Art was always my first love and though being a professional architect it is only art that can provide me mental peace, it’s the medium to meet my inner self”. 

Prominent faces were seen getting mesmerized and amazed at the exhibition that included Kanchan Chander, Hemi Bawa, Bhaichand Patel, Shruti Gupta Chandra, Samar Jodha, Laxmana Dalmia, Jatin Das and Aziz Quraishi amongst others.
