Not only did the multiple-day saga make headlines for its lavishness and show of luxury, but also for the multitude of bespoke outfits adorned by the entire Ambani clan. The bride of the year, therefore, is surely Radhika Merchant who looked regal and queenly in her modern-day ‘Panetar’, a Gujarati bridal attire featuring red and white colours.
Radhika opted for a bejewelled lehenga from the shelves of designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla featuring ivory zardozi cut-work, a detachable trail, a 5-metre head veil and a tissue shoulder dupatta. The ghagra boasted three borders of red consisting of naqshi, saadi, and zardozi work in the form of floral booties, stones, sequins, tamba tikkis and red Resham. The bride completed her look with jewellery that her nani, mom and sister wore to their own weddings.

Aditi Rao Hydari- Pioneer of Minimalistic Bridal Fashion
Aditi Rao Hydari tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Siddharth Suryanarayan in two wedding ceremonies that were the epitome of exemplary minimalism. From the bride and groom’s attires to the decoration, everything was minimalistic yet so elegant and trendsetting. Her first wedding ceremony was held at the historic 400-year-old Sri Ranganayaka Swamy Temple in Telangana. Aditi stole the show here with her Maheshwari tissue lehenga with a Banarasi tissue dupatta from the archives of the Sabyasachi Heritage Textile Collection.
For her second wedding ceremony at the Alila Fort Bishangarh, Rajasthan the actress adorned another minimalistic silk textured lehenga paired with an organza dupatta from the archives of the Sabyasachi Heritage Bridal Collection. She complimented both her looks with Sabyasachi Heritage Jewellery.
Sobhita Dhulipala- The Traditional Indian Bride
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala got hitched to actor Naga Chaitanya in a traditional Telugu ceremony on December 4th, 2024. The actress created a buzz all over social media for her ethereal and completely traditional saree looks that made her look like an Indian goddess. Her first saree was an antique gold Kanjeevaram tissue saree by designer Gaurang Shah that she wore for the Gowri Puja ceremony, a ritual held at the bride’s home. Later, for her mangalsutra ceremony she changed into a madhuparkam made of handcharkha khadi with silk zari border. Adorning the traditional jewellery including maathapatti, chaand suraj, mango mala, and choker, she looked otherworldly in her bridal fashion moment.
Kriti Kharbanda- Love for Pastels & Florals
Pastels and florals in bridal attire were the peak bridal fashion moment this year. While Kriti Kharband married the two to make an ethereal monochromatic bridal look in pink, Aaliyah Kashyap also followed in her steps in an ivory floral look. Kriti wore a custom Anamika Khanna lehenga with shades and hues of pink on each panel embellished with gota work and floral motifs on the scalloped edges. She accentuated her look with chunky bridal jewellery and rocked the pastel theme she opted for.
