After a progressive collaboration with ace designer Manish Arora, Zoya, the exquisite diamond boutique from the House of Tata, announced a collaboration with Rahul Mishra on September 16, 2019, only to be grander and more exotic this time. The designs by Zoya will be showcased at the fashion world’s mammoth of couture week, Paris Fashion Week (PFW). The collection by Mishra —Spring-Summer 2020, will succeed Metropolis 1, from the last season of PFW, which explores the concept of growth — cityscapes and overgrown trees are the running leitmotifs for the season.

Zoya’s Whispers from the Valley, inspired by Kashmir, 6299 Hollywood Blvd., inspired from Hollywood glamour, and Pezzo D’Arte, capturing the timeless marvels of Italian architecture — the jewels that will see the light of runway at the much-awaited day at PFW. “Both Zoya and Rahul Mishra are deeply creative labels and have a very contemporary design language. They have their heart in India and an eye on the world and apply best in class standards to product quality and craftsmanship,” said Revathi Kant, Chief Design Officer, Titan Company Limited.

Mishra, speaking about his collection said, “The collection continues the narrative from our Paris Couture FW 2019/20 collection, Metropolis Part I. We have been ardently inspired by an incessantly growing metropolis. One often remarks at the growth of a city as to how it must have changed since our previous visit, grown a little taller and wider, akin to a magnanimous organism that nourishes itself from its surroundings and germinates into maturity.”

As a preview to the upcoming exciting collaboration, three looks were presented from the Spring Summer 2020 collection to be presented at the luxurious Palais de Tokyo venue in Paris. The exotic looks exhibited the reciprocity of stunning traditional roots amalgamated with delicate western silhouettes by the designer of apparel and jewellery.
