The wedding, which was awaited with bated breath all around the world due to its secretive planning and lavish expenditure, has finally happened! The billionaire Jeff Bezos and his longtime partner Lauren Sanchez concluded their three-day-long grand wedding celebration—which began on June 26—this Saturday, June 28.

The couple chose to say their ‘I Do’s in a private ceremony on a secluded historic San Giorgio Maggiore island in San Marco sestiere on June 27. The guests who witnessed their sacred vows featured the Kardashian-Jenner family, Bill Gates, Karlie Kloss, and Oprah Winfrey. All of them followed the social media blackout rules, which helped in culminating the ceremony even more discreetly.

However, not so much time later, Vogue uncovered its latest digital issue, featuring Lauren Sanchez’s bridal look. The speculations are that the gown adorned by the bride is a custom-made Dolce & Gabbana, which took one and a half years to curate. Shortly after the release of her bridal look on the digital cover of Vogue, Lauren Sanchez changed her name to Lauren Sanchez Bezos on Instagram.

After that, the couple threw a grand finale party on Saturday, June 28, at Arsenale, a former medieval shipyard. To reach the event venue, they boarded a boat with paparazzi following close behind them. The newlyweds waved towards the photographers. Sanchez was seen wearing an intricate pink gown, designed by Atelier Versace, while Bezos sported an all black look.

It is safe to say that this wedding celebration was one of the most public and private affairs in recent times.
